Liberty Hotels Lara Beach, Turkey

An underestimated treasure... A fantastic holiday.

This hotel is situated in Antalya on the Turkish Mediterranean coast. With temperatures in June as high as 35 degrees, it is a perfect location for sun-seekers looking to spend their holiday relaxing topping up on a lot of vitamin D!

My partner and I have just returned from a perfect one weeks stay at Liberty Lara booked through First Choice. From the reviews online I was very sceptical after our booking having read very mixed reviews of this hotel, however I cannot see how anyone could fault it. Upon arrival the hotels entrance does not do it justice compared to the very grand, larger hotels surrounding it but once you walk through the doors it is just amazing. The reception lobby area is immaculately clean and comfortable with wonderful décor. We arrived at 2.30am and the staff opened the restaurant and cooked us fresh food even though we were the only 2 that had arrived. All of the staff are so friendly but not too in your face. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They really make you feel comfortable and welcome. The rooms were always clean and well presented. The weather was perfect all week and there are plenty of sun beds for everyone and more. There is so much selection for food... The jasmine restaurant both inside and out is great, the fresh stir frys are delicious!

I would recommend the Italian a la carte, you get to have 1 free visit to an a la carte restaurant per 7 days you're staying. They also have a thai, Turkish, bbq a la carte and a fish restaurant on the pier. The fresh pizzas from the yoruk tent are to die for! Although we were there as a couple the hotel is perfect for families. The kids club we noticed was great with activities galore for both children and adults! Entertainment was fab the 3 nights we watched the shows - a bit cheesy but the entertainment team are well trained dancers. After the show you can head over to the sunset disco bar which has really great music into the early hours, with a vast selection of cocktails and other drinks and a great atmosphere or you can sit in the lobby/terrace bar if you'd prefer a more relaxed end to your evening.

You can also hire a VIP lounge in a cabana for the day on the pier for just 65 euros which is so worth it. You are waited on all day with fantastic views of the sea and surrounding landscapes.

I noticed from other guests we spoke to that a lot of their customers are repeat business which have already visited and have also had their hearts won over by Liberty Hotels Lara just like we now have... We are currently looking to book our next stay for next year. We have truly become advocates!
